A few quick checks can sometimes get you cooling again, or at least give us useful information when you call.

• Check that your thermostat is set to Cool (or Heat) and that the temperature setting actually calls for it.
• Make sure the breaker hasn't tripped, and swap in a fresh air filter if yours is dirty.
• If you see ice on the unit or the refrigerant lines, switch cooling off and run just the fan so it can thaw.
• If you smell something burning, shut the system off at the breaker and call us right away.

Stay safe in the heat: if anyone at home is at risk, such as young children, older adults, or pets, move them somewhere cool until your system is running again.

For businesses, it includes rooftop package units and commercial refrigeration like walk-ins, reach-ins, and display cases. Yes. We repair gas and heat-pump pool heaters.

Yes. Regular tune-ups and coil cleaning help catch small problems before they turn into expensive repairs.
